Clarity Health Services is managed by a team of senior executives that enjoys far-ranging experience in health care services, entrepreneurship, business services and software development.

Peter J. Gelpi

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to co-founding Clarity, Chief Executive Officer Peter J. Gelpi was an executive with Aldus Corporation (creator of the famous PageMaker program that helped popularize Apple's Macintosh computer) and Adobe Systems (the publisher of ubiquitous Acrobat and Flash software). He left Adobe in 1997 to guide several successful start-ups including Envision Telephony, a pioneering call-center software company. Pete received his BS in Physics from the University of California and his MBA from the Wharton School.

Arif Kassam

Vice President of Community Development

Arif Kassam worked in client and community relationship management positions over 15 years with Hewlett Packard and Motorola. More recently, he helped manage a number of startups. Arif earned his MBA from York University, Toronto, a certificate in Medical Management at the University of Washington, and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver.

Eric Bean

Vice President of Services

Eric Bean, also a former Aldus and Adobe executive, is an expert builder of document processing and delivery systems for enterprise applications and in production document services environments. Noted for leading product management and marketing initiatives for several successful software companies, Eric received his Master of Software Engineering with honors from Seattle University and his MBA from the University of Washington, also with highest honors.

Richard von Riesen

Chief Financial Officer

Most recently served as CEO of his family’s diversified manufacturing, retail and construction firm. Previously, Richard was a Founding General Partner of Frazier Technology Ventures, and the Vice President of Venture Development for Meisenbach Capital Management. He has served as a director of numerous start-up companies. He received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business

Rob Coppedge

Vice President, Corporate Development

Rob has spent the past thirteen years building successful health care services companies, first as a senior vice president and principal at Capitol Health Partners (specialized health care venture capital firm) and then as founding partner of Faultline Ventures. He is extremely active in the industry and is a founder and former Director of Leadership Health Care (the largest association of young health care executives). Rob received his BA in History from Georgetown University and is a CFA charterholder.

Gregory P. Lewis, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Greg P. Lewis, MD is a practicing radiologist. For two decades he practiced at Seattle's Virginia Mason Medical Center, where he served as deputy chief of radiology. Gregory earned his MD at the Oregon Health and Science School of Medicine.
